Trump’s expanded metals tariffs to hit goods from horseshoes to bulldozer blades

U.S. President Donald Trump implemented a significant expansion of tariffs on steel and aluminum, applying 25% duties to nearly $150 billion worth of derivative products—including nuts, bolts, stainless steel sinks, bulldozer blades, and other downstream items. The tariffs took effect as exemptions and quotas were lifted.
