China’s steel exports surged to 10.58 million metric tons in May, marking the third consecutive month above the 10 million ton threshold and a seven-month high. This reflects a 9.9% year-on-year increase. Meanwhile, steel imports tumbled 24.5% YoY to just 481,000 tons.
